Point Publishing’s owner and publisher, Debra Millar, has amassed more than 25 years of publishing experience. She is a former Publishing Director of Penguin Random House New Zealand and General Manager of Publishing at Penguin Books, and has also been Group Publisher of New Zealand’s largest magazine company.

She has worked with many of New Zealand’s bestselling authors, including Chelsea Winter and Annabel Langbein, award-winning novelists and leading lifestyle writers. Titles she has worked on include The Free Range Cook by Annabel Langbein, Eat by Chelsea Winter, Steve Williams: Out of the Rough, John Key: Portrait of a Prime Minister, Pippa Blake: Journey, and Steven Adams: My Life, My Fight.

At Point Publishing Debra offers a complete publishing service, from development of the initial concept through to editing, design and printing. She can also co-ordinate distribution and publicity. Specialist writers, photographers, editors, designers and proofreaders are involved as required in order to deliver the highest-quality publications on time and within budget. Debra also writes and publishes a limited number of non-fiction titles.
